Our machine shop with CNC milling machines and lathe enables us to provide a complete ‘in-house’ machining service.
We can work in all metals and thermoplastics, such as Delrin and Vesconite to produce:
Bushes
Anchor rollers
Bearings
Pins.
Emergency bronze Prop Nut
After an emergency call from Sardinia where one of our clients had lost a prop (they managed to recover the prop but not the nut!) Our machinist worked late into the evening to produce a new nut out of 42 kg of solid bronze pipe. After machining the nut weighed 30 kg it was picked up that evening where Vueling promptly lost it en route and he had to do it all over again the next day! Thankfully it got there in the end.
